A Quest to Find the next St. Lucian Nobel Laureate in Literature

About image
In January each year which commenced in 2019, the awardees of the annual Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition will be recognized for their written accomplishments.

All participants will receive a platform through which their entries can be heard and publicly recognized. All students will receive framed certificates and those who emerge as National Gold Finalist, Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will receive tokens and prizes from various partners and supporters.

This initiative was created by SLUDTERA Founder & President, Michelle N. Samuel who is herself a published author of Poetry in the United States. She is also a Junior Judge of the Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition and has been for the past 4 years. In 2019 she received a royal invitation to Buckingham Palace by the late Queen Elizabeth, to attend the grand award ceremony of the highest achievers in the Commonwealth - the Junior gold and senior gold Commonwealth winners.
